Photographer Sevil Sert, opened ARTANE, her new space in Cihangir, in 2006. This unique gallery in the centre of Istanbul acts as a bridge between Turkey and the International art world by enabling a platform in which artists of many nationalities can create and show new projects. Some of these relate to Istanbul itself, others provide never seen before perspectives.

This is a very interesting exhibition space .It is very close to our flats and it has a very nice back garden with a small pool ....It is a surprise of gallery ...full of small rooms and corridors ...a small maze ...Dont miss it...It is one of my favourite places...just let yourself go and dont forget to visit the back garden...
