This flat can be also a "museum" but a modern art one !!!

The most visible feature are the pictures that my best italian friend the artist Paolo Polacco painted from 1987 to 2002 . Some of them have been replaced because some guests wanted to buy them ....so if you fall in love with one of these magnificent and relaxing masterpieces ask me its price ..maybe I can sell it ...some of them are so meaningfull to me that I will never sell them but...

The flat is 50 sqm. It has a long corridor in which the kitchenette is located ,right behind the entrance door .

The kitchenette is fully equipped with kettle ,electric oven and natural gas stove ,big fridge and all the cuttlery and the dishes and mugs and glasses you may need to cook your home food or to try to cook some local food...On  the shelves the weird collection of "glasses" (glasses,bottles,jugs...) I started in 2003 after coming here....glass is one of the most amazing material !!!

On the right there is the door to the bright living room ...or Modern Art Museum !!!

All my favourite paintings  will look at you from the walls. The dominant colour is yellow ..my favourite colour.Dont forget to notice the kitsch Tower of Pisa table lamp and my other collection of toy cars....

The small "jumba" or bay window will let you "spy" the passers by without being seen as the ottoman women of the old times used to do and being "supervised" by the puppet of Pinocchio (my italian roots!!) and of Hacivat and karagoz (my turkish roots!!!!) .....

You can watch the moder flat screen televison from the cosy sofa bed and seat at the glass table to eat dinner . A dvd player will allow you to choose a movie instead of wandering hours among the channels of all the world ...

The floor also here is the original wood one covered by one of my favourite "kilim" carpet.

Again the corridor ,with its coloured tiles I didnt want to change because there yellow and red colours are so warm ...will lead you to the bathroom with its "Medusa" tiles and to the double bedroom .

Everywhere you will se the pictures of Paolo.Most of them from the early period and some watercolours made in Cappadocia and in Brittany and at Mount S.Michel in Normandy.

In the flat there is internet wifi connnection and 24hrs heating and hot water.

And of course a part of my Guests Library ....
